Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
The next generation is special to God. That is why we have a Youth and Family Ministry. It is designed to teach and equip children with Biblical truths so that they can grow closer, deeper, and stronger in their love and knowledge of God in a way that is appropriate for their age.
Children’s ministry
Known as “Kids Quest,” our Sunday school classes are for children ages six months through fifth grade. Our trained teachers use a Bible-based curriculum that teaches the basics of faith, often using object lessons, crafts, and games to make the lessons fun and engaging.
If you would like your child to participate in Kids Quest during a church service, bring them to the lower level after our opening praise and worship singing on Sunday mornings. Check your child in at the table, and let our children’s ministry workers know if your child has any food allergies or other special needs.
Teen and preteen ministry
We also have a ministry just for junior high and high school students. While they participate in the worship service on Sundays, we provide other opportunities for teens and preteens to grow stronger, deeper, and closer to God, and to connect with peers here and throughout the Midwest. Ask us about what exciting activities we have planned next for this blooming age group!
Family ministry
While Sunday school helps equip them, kids have an opportunity to put their faith into practice at home, at school and in the community. That’s why we provide families with parenting support, marriage advice, and more so all families can blossom. Contact us if you would like to learn more about our Youth and Family Ministries.
